Idaho Society of Professional Engineers Update – October, 2016
FROM THE
PRESIDENT:
Happy October! As we head into fall, be sure to mark your calendars for upcoming
chapter PDH opportunities. We will do our best to keep you posted!
A quick word from the Licensing Board: As of July, due to legislation changes,
the Licensing Board was required to remove one engineer and replace that
position with a public member. Recently, the Board has announced their new
public member, Mr. John Tomkinson. Mr. Tomkinson is a former employee of ITD and
worked in planning and administration and will serve the remaining term of David
Bennion which will expire in 2018. Look for more information directly from the
Board via their newsletter or visit their
website!
Have a safe and productive month!
