Answer to the last MATHCOUNTS problem: There are four color options for each of the five tail feathers. That means there are 8 places that need to be assigned. Since we are dealing with a round table we need to remember that we can shift everyone 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 seats without changing the order.
