2007 National Engineers Week Banquet

 Join friends and colleagues from local engineering societies for this year’s National Engineers Week Banquet.  Mingle with your engineering peers during the no-host social.  Enjoy a delicious dinner of beef, chicken, shrimp, or vegetarian pasta.  The program will consist of the presentation of the Outstanding Engineer Award and the keynote speaker, Dr. Richard T Jacobsen.  Dr. Jacobsen became dean of the Idaho State University College of Engineering July 1, 2006. Previously he served as Chief Scientist at the Idaho National Laboratory and Dean of the University of Idaho College of Engineering.

           780 Lindsay Blvd, Idaho Falls, Idaho

             Take Exit number 119 off of I-15 (US-20 Exit), go east on US-20 toward Rigby, exit

             immediately at the Lindsay Blvd. ramp and turn left onto Lindsay Blvd. The Shilo Inn will be

            about one block ahead on your left.

 

Cost:    $25.00 per person if RSVP with payment received by noon on Tuesday, February 20, 2007.  $30.00 per person at the door.

 

Menu Selections

 

Bacon Wrapped Sirloin – Tender Sirloin marinated, wrapped in bacon and broiled to perfection.

 

Chicken Oscar – Chicken stuffed with crab, asparagus spears and topped with béarnaise sauce.

 

Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp – Four shrimps with a langostino stuffing and topped with a delicate hollandaise sauce.

 

Stuffed Baked Eggplant – Awesome vegetarian dish.

 

All dinners include tossed green salad, fresh sautéed seasonal vegetables, rice or potatoes, fresh baked rolls and butter, dessert, coffee or tea and lemonade.
